A Must-Know Strategy If Your Boss Is Giving You a Hard Time

Every weekday I’ll be in the Feminine Leader’s Lounge doing a live broadcast with awesome strategies and tips to help you become an even better leader. Today I’m talking about compassion. So often we are so caught up in our own world that we forget to think about what’s going on with other people.

Whether it’s your boss, coworker, spouse or child, it helps to know that they are not giving you a hard time, they are having a hard time. And guess what? When you are snapping at those around you, you could use some compassion. Because you are also having a hard time.

Your Brain on Stress

When we are in a state of fight, flight or freeze our brains are not equipped to handle complex emotions. Our brain is focused on keeping us safe from danger. Consequently we don’t always make the best decisions from that place. The reality is, unfortunately, that most of us are constantly under stress. We end up using up all our emotional reserves by 10am. Then the rest of the day is a free for all.

I’m sharing some simple strategies to help you regain composure when you are faced with someone else’s projections. Plus I’ll talk about what to do when you find yourself having a hard time.

Watch the video and then leave a comment below letting me know the person who triggers you the most. Then, come on over and join us in the Feminine Leader’s Lounge on Facebook or LinkedIn.
